Interaction with Environmental Specialists

Gazprom Neft is actively involved in work to improve the existing standards of environmental legislation and develop new draft laws as part of interaction with the legislative and executive government authorities and also in the work of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

In 2014, Chairman of the OJSC Gazprom Neft Management Board Alexander Dyukov and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District Governor Dmitry Kobylkin signed a memorandum on joint actions to ensure environmental safety in the region. The main areas of cooperation include continuous environmental monitoring and control, the rational use and restoration of natural resources and the exchange of experience of best global practices in order minimise the environmental impact.
